Policies and Procedures

Many Parish Council documents are now posted online, and are available as PDF Documents.

Please click on your required document below. These can be printed for reference, but cannot be altered, and are published in accordance with Crown Copyright regulations.

East Woodhay Parish Council follows guidance on the Freedom of Information Act from the ICO website.

Standing orders are the written rules of a local council. They are used to confirm a council’s internal organisational, administrative and procurement procedures and procedural matters for meetings. They are not the same as the policies of a council but they may refer to them. A local council must have standing orders for the procurement of contracts.

The model publication scheme is a short document recommended by the ICO setting out an authority's high-level commitment to proactively publish information. This adopted model publication scheme commits EWPC to publish certain classes of information. It also specifies how the council should make the information available, what they can charge, and what we need to tell members of the public about the scheme.

If you wish to obtain information from the council, this can usually be found on our website for free. Should you wish to make formal request for information, please read our Freedom of Information Policy and Subject Access Request Policy along wire the Schedule of Charges.

EWPC has a small yearly budget for grant requests. To be considered for a grant, please contact the clerk, and fill in the form below.
